I live and work in Seoul, South Korea. I don't consider myself a photographer but merely a guy who carries along a camera on his journeys. I started this site out of laziness. I am too lazy to sit down and keep a proper journal, yet I would like to be able to catalogue those experiences that I or my family may want to ponder one day. The camera for me acts as the motivation to get me out and about and to scrutinize life in a way that it will never pass me buy. I cherish every click of the shutter and am truly happy with a camera in my hand and a subject in my lens. As long as you have a camera you can never say you have nothing to do.
Technical note: I shoot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and EOS 1D Mark III with 24-105 EFL f4; 17-35 EFL f2.8; 70-200 EFL f2.8; 50 EF f1.4 lenses, a Canon Rebel XSi with 18-55 (kit) lens, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1, LX3 and DMC FX-150. Many of the shots on this site were taken with a Canon EOS 20D, my first Canon DSLR or a Canon EOS 5D, my second. Others were taken with Leicas - MP, M7, M6 (Korea folder) and still others with a Nikon D70, my first DSLR (Sumo) or a Nikon film SLR (F100/ N80) (India).
